Attendance & Absences

Pupils are expected to attend school regularly and punctually barring illness. School begins with registration and assembly and latecomers disrupt the class and miss out in important initial activities of the day. Lateness is recorded in the register and sent home in reports at the end of the term. Reminder slips will be sent to parents whose children come late three times within a two-week period. Children are not allowed to be withdrawn from school during term time for functions or holidays. However, where this becomes absolutely necessary a written application must be made to the Head teacher.

Lunch, Meals & Snacks

The school provides a hot lunch with the additional option of fruit or yogurt on specific days of the week. Children are expected to bring their mid-day snack and water bottles to school on a daily basis. A weekly lunch menu is placed on the notice board for the attention of the parents . Parents should inform the school if the child has any specific dietary requirement or allergies for medical reasons. Sweets, chocolate and fizzy drinks in water bottles are not allowed.

Parents are also free to have verbal discussion with staff anytime during the term.
